Pat Mulcahy Handmade Knives and Cutlery, West Cork, Ireland

I'm originally from West Cork and based in Bantry.

I produce high quality, custom, handmade knives and cutlery; I hand-grind the blades from high carbon stainless steels e.g. ATS34, 440c using a method called stock-removal whereby material is removed from a flat bar or plate to leave a blade. I compliment the blades with a selection of handle materials, which range from Irish bog-oak to exotic hardwoods, laminates and composite plastics.

Various finishes are available and these may vary the cost.

Gift vouchers are also available.

Please note that generally knives and sets can be made to clients specific requirements or designs.

I guarantee my knives against imperfections in the craftsmanship however, interfering with the knife will void the warranty and repair charges will apply.
